Sponsored by the Citi Foundation, and supported by Education Bureau, Yau Tsim Mong District Office, Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, School of Design of The Polytechnic University and School of Engineering of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, The Hong Kong Council of Social Service has launched the 5th Social Innovation· Community 4.0 Competition aiming to encourage youth to care about the communities, and to use design thinking approach and social innovation to solve the identified social problems.

Yau Tsim Mong District is the focal district of the 5th year of the competition, special concerns on Multicultural Inclusion, Living Quality Improvement and Public Hygiene Improvement are being addressed. We hope the participated students can have a more concrete understanding on the district's situation and feel empathy with residents’ needs, and provide innovative, viable solutions for the local community.
